The VersaFold Hardcoated Windshield offers a premium folding design with a full-perimeter seal that eliminates gaps between the windshield and roof, providing protection comparable to a full windshield. It features a 0.220" thick polycarbonate material with an automotive-grade, high-deflection bulb gasket around the entire perimeter. The top section folds against the bottom without contacting the hood and can be quickly secured or released using two composite levers—no tools required. A durable, UV-protected transparent hinge ensures long-lasting performance and easy replacement if needed. The windshield stays securely in its folded position with two heavy-duty captive rubber plugs. It is compatible with most OEM roofs and doors, as well as all Seizmik accessories. When properly secured, it is trailerable at speeds up to 65 mph. Material options include: - **UV-Resistant Polycarbonate**: Offers incredible shatter resistance (200x stronger than glass) but is softer and more prone to scratching than acrylic. Provides 88% light transmission and remains stable up to 260°F. - **Double-Sided, Hard-Coated Polycarbonate**: Maintains all the benefits of standard polycarbonate with an industry-leading scratch-resistant coating applied to both sides.
