The S2 type is a momentary 2 position ON/OFF style rocker switch. This switch will automatically spring back to the OFF position after depressing the actuator. These type of switches are commonly referred to as SPST (single pole single throw) type switches.
FLIP S2 type switches feature two LED indicators. One LED, usually oriented as the lower LED, is INDEPENDENT and dedicated to illuminating the text of the actuator cover. The second LED, usually oriented as the upper LED, is DEPENDENT on the state of the switch. If the switch is in the ON position, the LED will be ON, and vice versa.
