The BX Ski Set (Boondocking Xtreme) is designed for advanced technical mountain riding, offering exceptional performance for today's lightweight 2-stroke snowmobiles. Engineered for precision and durability, the skis feature a unique rocker design on the bottom to ensure smooth navigation through tight trees and challenging terrain. The tapered rear section facilitates effortless side-hilling, while integrated snow traction grooves on either side of the center keel enhance grip even at severe angles. Constructed from ultra-durable UHMW poly, the BX skis are built to withstand harsh conditions. A preloaded, adjustable, and flexible tip absorbs impact, while the patented all-plastic saddle design provides superior flex and reverse flex. The flat-bottom design with simple 90° angles on a square keel allows the skis to float on snow without relying on engineered lift. Additional features include a larger kicked-up tail for improved reverse handling, integrated boot traction on the top for deep snow boarding, and an ISR-approved handle. The ski dimensions are 7-1/4" wide (tapered) by 42" long, with a 1.125" center keel height. Each ski weighs approximately 7 lbs, including the handle. Mounting kits and carbides are sold separately. The BX Ski Set does not replace the MTX ski but complements it, offering a lightweight performance option for mountain riders while the MTX remains ideal for heavier sleds and trails.
