The Vertex Piston Kit is designed for both 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines, providing high-quality replacement pistons with advanced engineering for durability and performance. 2-stroke piston kits are made from gravity-cast aluminum alloy with 18% silicone content, making them lightweight yet strong. 4-stroke pistons are forged from 2618 aluminum for superior strength and durability. High-compression 4-stroke pistons enhance power and torque across the entire RPM range, while big-bore pistons increase engine displacement, torque, and peak horsepower. All pistons undergo a T-5 heat treatment process for hardening and tempering. The piston skirts feature a molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) coating to reduce friction, ensure faster break-in, and extend piston life. Kits include a piston, rings, wrist pin, and circlips. Two-stroke replacement rings are sold individually, while four-stroke piston rings come as a set.
