The Vertex Top End Kit (66.35mm) is a high-quality replacement piston kit designed for durability and performance. The cast piston is made from a gravity-cast aluminum alloy with 18% silicone content, ensuring a lightweight yet strong construction. It features a molybdenum disulfide-coated skirt for reduced friction, faster break-in, and extended lifespan. Each piston undergoes a T-5 heat treatment process for enhanced strength and wear resistance. The kit includes a piston, rings, wrist pin, circlips, top-end gaskets, and a wrist pin bearing where applicable. For those requiring increased durability and performance, forged pistons are made from 2618 aluminum, providing superior strength. High-compression forged pistons enhance power and torque across the RPM range. All rings included are OEM replacements, ensuring a precise fit and reliable performance.
