The Vertex Top End Kit includes everything needed for a complete top-end rebuild, including a piston, rings, wrist pin, circlips, top-end gaskets, and a wrist pin bearing or cam chain where applicable. The cast pistons are gravity-cast from an aluminum alloy with 18% silicone content, making them lightweight yet strong. All pistons undergo a T-5 heat treatment process for added durability. The piston skirts feature a molybdenum disulfide coating to reduce friction, promote faster break-in, and extend piston life. Forged pistons are made from 2618 aluminum for superior strength and durability. High-compression forged pistons enhance power and torque across the entire RPM range. All rings included in the kit are OEM replacements.
