The S&S 1250cc Sportster Conversion Kit upgrades your Harley-Davidson Sportster engine for increased performance. The kit includes S&S 1250cc forged pistons with rings and wrist pins, 3-9/16" bore cylinders, MLS head, base, and exhaust gaskets, assembly lube, and instructions. The forged pistons feature coated skirts with a measurement window and S&S logo, along with larger-than-stock valve pockets that accept up to 2.00" valves. For proper compression ratios, 883 models require XL1200 cylinder heads. This kit is not compatible with XR1200 models. Stock 1200cc cylinders can also be bored over to accommodate these pistons.
