The Vertex Piston Kit is designed for durability and performance. The kit includes a piston, rings, wrist pin, and circlips. For 2-stroke engines, the pistons are made from gravity-cast aluminum alloy with 18% silicone content, making them lightweight yet strong. 4-stroke pistons are forged from 2618 aluminum for enhanced strength and durability. High-compression 4-stroke pistons improve power and torque across the RPM range, while big-bore pistons increase displacement, torque, and peak horsepower. All pistons undergo a T-5 heat treatment process for added hardness and longevity. The piston skirts feature a high-tech Molybdenum Disulphide (MoS2) coating, which reduces wear and allows for a faster break-in period. Standard pistons and rings serve as OEM replacements. Two-stroke replacement rings are sold individually, while four-stroke piston rings are sold as a set.
