The Vertex Piston Kit offers high-quality replacement pistons for both 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines. - **2-Stroke Pistons:** Made from gravity-cast aluminum alloy with 18% silicone content for a lightweight yet strong design. - **4-Stroke Pistons:** Forged from 2618 aluminum for superior strength and durability. High-compression options enhance power and torque across the RPM range, while big-bore versions increase displacement, torque, and peak horsepower. All pistons undergo a T-5 heat treatment for added durability, and the skirts are coated with a high-tech molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) layer to reduce friction, speed up break-in time, and extend lifespan. Each kit includes a piston, rings, wrist pin, and circlips. Two-stroke piston rings are sold individually, while four-stroke rings come as a set.
