The Wiseco 4312P2 Piston Kit is designed for Yamaha YTM/YFM225 models from 1984-1988. This high-performance piston is built from forged high-silicon, low-expansion aluminum, offering superior strength, reduced weight, improved heat transfer, and extended durability. The piston features a diamond-turned finish for precise fitment across various cylinder bore compositions. The kit includes a piston, piston rings, wrist pin, and circlips. It is engineered to provide increased power and throttle response while minimizing friction. The dedicated forging process ensures a lightweight yet strong construction, with a race-ready dome design for improved combustion flow. Additionally, the armor glide skirt coating helps reduce friction in racing applications. For oversized applications, cylinder sleeving may be required. Note that the top-end bearing is not included in the kit.
