The JE Pistons VW 2.0T FSI 83.0mm Piston Kit is a set of four high-performance forged pistons designed for Volkswagen 2.0T FSI engines from 2004-2008. Manufactured from strong 2618 aluminum, these pistons are engineered to withstand high-performance applications. The proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design minimizes friction and reduces power loss by utilizing a narrower skirt and a shorter wrist pin for weight savings. Depending on the application, the pistons may feature a skirt coating to reduce friction and wear, as well as an accumulator groove to enhance ring seal and reduce pressure fluctuation. This kit includes high-quality wrist pins, locks, and JE Pro Seal premium piston rings. The pistons have an 83.0mm (3.268") bore, a 9.5:1 compression ratio, an inverted dome/dish design, and a 20mm (0.787") wrist pin diameter with a 1.165" compression height.
