The JE Pistons VW 2.0T FSI 82.5mm Piston Kit is a set of four high-performance forged pistons designed for Volkswagen 2.0T FSI engines (model years 2004-2008). Crafted from strong 2618 aluminum, these pistons offer exceptional durability and strength for demanding performance applications. Featuring JE Pistons' proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, they minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width and using a shorter wrist pin for weight savings. Some applications include a skirt coating to reduce friction, wear, and operating noise. Additionally, an accumulator groove (where applicable) helps improve ring seal and reduce ring flutter for consistent power delivery. This kit includes high-quality wrist pins, locks, and JE Pro Seal premium piston rings. The pistons have an inverted dome/dish design, a 3.248-inch bore (82.5mm), a 1.165-inch compression distance, and a 0.787-inch (20mm) wrist pin diameter. Ideal for high-performance builds, this kit ensures strength and reliability for both street and track applications.
