The JE Pistons TOY 2JZGTE 8.5:1 Piston Kit is a set of six high-performance forged pistons designed for the Toyota 2JZ-GTE engine. Constructed from 2618 aluminum, these pistons offer exceptional tensile strength for demanding applications. Featuring JE Pistons' proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, they minimize friction and reduce power loss by utilizing a narrower skirt width and a shorter wrist pin. Some applications include a skirt coating to decrease friction and wear while reducing operating noise. Additionally, an accumulator groove may be included to improve ring seal and reduce combustion gas pressure, minimizing ring flutter. This kit includes high-quality wrist pins, locks, and JE Pro Seal premium piston rings. The pistons have an inverted dome/dish design, a 3.386-inch bore, and an 8.5:1 compression ratio.
