The JE Pistons Piston Kit is designed for the Hyundai 2.0T Theta Genesis engine, featuring a set of four forged pistons with a 9.0:1 compression ratio and a 3.405-inch bore. Constructed from high-strength 2618 aluminum, these pistons are engineered for high-performance applications, offering durability and reliability under extreme conditions. The proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design reduces skirt width to minimize friction and power loss, while also incorporating a shorter wrist pin to save weight. Some applications include a skirt coating to reduce friction, wear, and operating noise. An accumulator groove, when applicable, helps improve ring sealing and reduce combustion gas pressure buildup. Each kit includes high-quality wrist pins, locks, and JE Pro Seal premium piston rings for a complete installation.
