The S&S 98" Big Bore Kit is designed for easy installation without the need for machining or case modifications. It includes aluminum cylinders with cast-in iron liners, CP pistons, rings, and necessary gaskets (head, base, and exhaust). The kit increases engine displacement to 98 cubic inches with a 3.937" bore while maintaining stock engine height. The 11-fin cylinder design closely resembles OEM styling and offers increased fin area for improved heat dissipation. The centrifugal cast grey iron liner has a tensile strength of 40,000 psi, ensuring superior durability and performance. CP Pistons are designed for excellent wear resistance, performance, and reduced noise. Installation requires a skilled technician to verify clearances and assembly specifications. This kit provides a significant performance boost while retaining stock cylinder heads.
