This piston set is designed for the 2008-2014 Volkswagen 2.0T TSI engine and features an 83mm bore with a +0.50mm oversize, a 9.6:1 compression ratio, and a -7.8cc inverted dome/dish design. Manufactured using 2618 aluminum for exceptional tensile strength, these pistons are engineered for high-performance and high-demand applications. The proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design reduces friction, minimizes power loss, and saves weight through a narrower skirt width and shorter wrist pin. Some models include a skirt coating to reduce friction, wear, and operating noise, as well as an accumulator groove to optimize ring sealing and enhance consistent performance. The kit includes four pistons, high-quality wrist pins, locks, and JE Pro Seal premium piston rings.
