The Arai XD-4 Depart Helmet is a premium dual-sport helmet designed for adventure touring, off-road, and street riding. Featuring an intermediate oval shape, it provides a comfortable fit for most riders. The FCS® cheek pads offer excellent support and comfort, with a 5mm peel-away custom-fit layer. The fully removable, replaceable, and washable interior ensures a dry and cool experience. The helmet includes peel-away side/temple crown pads to widen the interior fit if needed.

Three distinct configurations allow for customization based on rider preference or riding conditions. The high-flow peak reduces drag at highway speeds and directs air into upper intake vents for optimized ventilation. Larger sculpted vents enhance airflow and helmet stability at speed. The chin vent provides extra intake ports, while the brow vents in the face shield improve airflow to the temple area.

The eyeport design enhances ventilation without compromising shell integrity. Additionally, the emergency cheek pad release system allows for easier access to an injured rider via integrated pull-tabs.
